Holidays in Judaism Hold Special Message


Jewish religion, philosophy and the way of life is otherwise termed as Judaism. Judaism lays firm belief on Jewish scriptures and the words laid by Yeshua himself. In order to put all beliefs into a line and raise a revolution for the strengthening of the culture, MJBI strives to bring Judaism to the forefront of world’s plethora of religion. The religion however finds a strong road map to spiritual overwhelming through its holidays which are believed to be Yeshua, the Messiah’s dictation. Jewish Holidays are special days in Jewish calendar which calls for every Jewish to connect with God. It is further believed that one can attain purification from all sins by celebrating these holidays whole heartedly and sincerely. Let’s discuss on these Jewish holidays Sukkot in detail.
Sukkot refers to a Jewish Holiday which occurs in the 15th day of Tishrei which according to English calendar falls by September to late October. Jewish make a visit to Temple in Jerusalem on this auspicious day. The holiday is celebrated for eight days where each day holds special message in regards to Yeshua’s scriptures. The first day is named as Shabbat which asks Jewish to take leave from routine work and dedicate full day towards paying obeisance to the Messiah. Special prayers are held on this day to pay sole gratitude towards the Lord. The second through seventh days are observed as days spent for preparing for the special holy days. On these days, people buy food, clean their home, travel to other people’s house in regards to Sukkot’s observation. These days are known as Chol HaMoed which is regarded as the vacation days when people enjoy tastier food than usual.
The seventh day is known as Hoshanah Rabbah which is celebrated by visiting the Synagogue holding four species and reciting psalm 118:25 alongside additional prayers. Jewish holidays Sukkot is believed to be dictated by the Messiah himself affirming that these days would act as judgement days. Every sin will be measured against the good deeds of the person and hence the Jewish are expected to spend the days in Messiah’s name and ask forgiveness from people with whom they had done wrong in past. Things are mended in ways to bring families, friends and acquaintances closer to each other. By strictly following the rules of New Covenant, the Jewish holidays Sukkot is observed to bring peace and compassion amongst the Jewish community.
